Male Fertility Risks

Our Dallas fertility center offers truth and advice on male fertility risks from laptops, cell phones, saunas, hot tubs and bicycling.

Infertility Statistics

In the U.S., 6.7 million women, or 10.9 percent of the population are infertile. Among women ages 15 through 44, 7.4 million have sought help from an infertility doctor.

Why Transfer a Single Embryo?

Many couples are hesitant to try infertility treatment despite their dreams of starting a family. Sometimes, this is because they worry that in vitro fertilization (IVF) always leads to multiple pregnancies. Fertility doctors tend to agree that a single embryo transfer is preferable because there is a reduced risk of complications during pregnancy.

Donor Egg Pregnancy Rates

National success rates using donor eggs are 55 percent. At Dallas IVF, our pregnancy rates far exceed these national averages. Egg donors are a good choice if you have been trying IVF for several times or have a genetic disease that you don’t want to risk passing on to your child or if you are past your ovulating years.

What Is a Saline Sonogram?

If you have suffered the loss of a pregnancy, your fertility specialist might recommend undergoing a saline sonogram. A saline sonogram is a commonly performed diagnostic test to determine the underlying causes of infertility.
