The Best Doctors selection process involves peer voting and a physician review panel

The Best Doctors list is determined by a peer voting process. D Magazine asks thousands of local doctors to vote using an online ballot. During the voting process, all doctors are encouraged to select Dallas physicians whom they would trust to care for a loved one.

The results are then tallied and reviewed by an anonymous panel of physicians, and the D Magazine staff decides the finalists based on the number of votes. Every doctor on the list is licensed and board certified with an exemplary service record. Only the best of the best can make it onto the Best Doctors list.
