Some vaginal discharge could be normal, some could be a sign of infection
During his years of experience with female infertility and pregnancy, Dr. Lowell Ku has found that vaginal discharge changes during pregnancy occur and can progress, becoming more distinct and noticeable.
A yeast infection is a common occurrence during pregnancy, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends that pregnant women call their medical provider before trying over-the-counter treatments.
“During pregnancy, vaginal discharge (also called leukorrhea) can change from clear to milky white with a creamy texture.”

Dr. Ku reinforces that although hormonal changes during pregnancy are normal, unpleasant odors and vaginal itching could be signs of infection. And if the discharge contains blood, you should contact your OB-GYN.
